Taeiss Mojazza Haghighat to Lead IAPAC’s Fund Development Activities

Washington, DC – Mrs. Taeiss Mojazza Haghighat was recently appointed as the Development Director of the Iranian American Political Action Committee (IAPAC). In her new position, Taeiss is responsible for the planning and execution of fund development activities for the organization.

Taeiss’ focus will be on managing donor relationships, developing balanced funding mix of donor sources and solicitation programs and running the day-to-day operations of development functions. “With Taeiss as our Development Director, we will gain special strength in our fundraising efforts throughout the nation,” says Mr. Morad Ghorban, IAPAC’s Political Director. “Her hi-level of energy and dedication will play an instrumental role in leading our staff and volunteers to institutionalize fund development within the organization.”

Taeiss has extensive experience in managing and implementing fundraising activities and producing charitable and political contributions. She has managed and coordinated fundraising activities for candidates running for public office in Massachusetts at the local, state and federal levels.

In September of 2004, Taeiss organized the Iranian American Immigration Forum in Boston, MA. The forum was hosted by Congressman Marty Meehan and included a panel of speakers who spoke on various themes of immigration and then fielded specific questions from the mostly Iranian American audience. The purpose of the Immigration Forum was to provide an avenue for community members to discuss their concerns over the immigration process with their member of Congress and government officials.

Taeiss holds a B.S. in Biology and Business Administration from Marymount College and is completing her coursework at Northeastern University toward a Masters Degree in Leadership with a double concentration in Intellectual Property and Knowledge Management.
